Spirit Airlines Lampoons Secret Service Prostitution Scandal; Ted Nugent Cleared

It's nice to see a company that is willing to poke fun at absurd scandals with their advertising. Spirit Airlines has taken a major jab at the Secret Service prostitution hoopla with a current advert for flights to Cartagena, Columbia. At prices starting at just $19.80, just imagine of what you do with spend all that money you save once you get there.

While I'm on the subject, Motor City Madman Ted Nugent has had his meeting with Secret Service agents, and they've assessed that he poses no threat to President Obama. Sure, they guy is nuttier than a tray of pecan roles. But you can't hold colorful – and quite violent – metaphors against a guy.

I guess when you've been entrusted to protect the POTUS, you can't be too careful. You have to take inflammatory speech at face value and conclude that a banana might indeed be a banana. Still, it was pretty ridiculous.
